Book review

We were reading a book called u-turn and it was about a mother and a son that needed to pay a $20 fine for not returning their library books but the mother didn't want to pay the fine so she had an argument with the library manager but the manager said that if the mother didn't pay the fine she would go to jail so the mother eventually payed the fine.

My name is JD. I go to Te Hapara School. I live in Gisborne New Zealand.  I like riding my dirtbike. My favourite food is sushi. I have two sisters.  I am good at riding Motorbikes, scootering, darts, maths, drawing, and playing on my xbox.

I enjoy being with my mum, playing on my xbox and riding my dirtbike. My goal is to ride my dirtbike more.

I am looking forward to the end of the school year so I can be with my family more and have lots of free time. My mum inspires me because even when something very bad is happening she is always finding ways to stay positive
